What are international transfers?
An international transfer is the delivery of funds from your account in Spain to an account in a country inside or outside the European Union. Transfers can be made in euros or a different currency.

How do I make a transfer online?
To send money abroad, you will need some basic information about the recipient:
- Destination country and currency of the transfer.
- Full name of the beneficiary.
- Amount to be transferred.
- SWIFT/BIC code of the receiving bank.
- Account number or IBAN.
With this information, you can make the transfer quickly through the Santander app or Web. All you need to do is enter the details and confirm the transaction in a few simple steps. If you prefer, you can also arrange it at a Santander branch or through Superlínea, where our team will guide you through the process.
We recommend you check the information carefully before confirming the transaction. If the information is incorrect, the transfer may be returned by the receiving entity and additional costs may be incurred.
